it would be hard without college(it's hard enough with college) and you could forget about a big place like A.C. but if you are willing to work in general aviation for a start you can do it with ICS. a lot of bush operators have a lifetime apprentice or two on the floor who never went to college or ...

E.L.T. re-certification

can an M licence AME sign off an e.l.t. and do an annual inspection/re certification after a battery replacement and an operational check, or do e.l.t.'s have to go to an avionics shop or a AMO that specializes in something like that? i read AWM 571 appendix G, and AWM 551.104 but i still can't tell...

why is it not recommended to run manifold pressure on top of r.p.m. in a naturally aspirated piston engine? (for now just ignore super/turbocharged engines where higher m.p. is run regularly) the numbers seem fairly arbitrary, eg. what does 25" hg have to do with 2500 rpm, etc. other than the number...

are you talking about the working for the lodge? the air service and the lodges are seperate entities now and the wheel stuff still goes by 'bolton air'
and consists of navajos. if you want to know about flying floats for the lodge you can pm me.
