Re: Can you pay your way to air canada

This thread is very similar to another I replied to recently. It appears as though yolosimp (who created an account to ask this question and hasn’t logged in since), balkanskies (who created an account shortly after) and travelisfun, may be the same troll. Maybe it’s a strange coincidence though, so...

Re: Is buying a plane to build enough hours a thing in Canada

You could get a head start on getting the minimum required PIC time. (Some people get hung up on that requirement.) Anything more is a waste of money, if you’re only looking for the atpl. As fun as it is doing long cross country adventures with your wife or friend, you’d be flying where, when and wi...

Re: Flight test Ground questions

Thanks for the replies so far! I think you're missing the point though. Aside from the obvious: speeds, limitations, systems, and QRH stuff for a given type. Along with company specific things such as SOP's, Op's spec's, and general knowledge of the COM/FOM, MEL, etc.... I'm talkin more generic ques...

Flight test Ground questions

Any chance any of you fine individuals have something similar, and are willing to share? Mabey an electronic copy? If not lets start one here, that can continuou...

A Teabagger, Union Member and a CEO....

A Teabagger, Union Member and a CEO are sitting at a table with a dozen cookies...

...the CEO immediately takes 11 cookies for himself. The CEO then turns to the teabagger and says, "Watch out for that union guy he wants part of your cookie."

Re: Update - Citation was attempting barrel roll / crashed . . .

Ok,, Explain to me how this citation crashed killing all aboard? For all you "heavy" drivers... when was the last time you rolled? Next time you "heavy" guys (this includes you BFF) fly,, try a half roll left,, then half roll right.......Might humble you.... but then again,,,, you all have your SOP...

Re: Update - Citation was attempting barrel roll / crashed . . .

JJJ My point is most guys that fly the heavy iron, have the stick and rudder skills of 50 hour PPL when it comes to upset recovery etc.... :prayer: Wow all the guys who fly the big stuff 70-80hrs/month, and do training every 8 months, have no idea how to pull off a "crazy" upset recovery maneuver. ...

Re: Hockey Teams Travelling

Do you rest better with the new handle now, Schlem? :goodman: @FICU, What type a/c were you flying the Avalanche around on? I have to admit your nickname has me curious as it matches the reg of a LR35 that used to be operated by that fine company CGAA (insert sarcasm here), may they burn in hell, I ...
