For the 737-500: ( & I would assume to be installed in an advanced version on the NG's) "A rudder pressure reducer (RPR) is connected to the A system hydraulic line upstream of the main rudder PCU. Hydraulic pressure to the rudder is reduced when the a/c climbs above 1,000 feet AGL. Hydraulic pressu...

A buddy of mine said he was in YYC on the night that the crew arrived at their hotel. He saw the F/O get helped out of the hotel shuttle and said he looked like the face of death. I can see why!!

You're ability to cut & paste overwhelms me!

When was the last time you saw 198 KTS at any altitude? And when was the last time you did a 1200 RVR approach on RWY 16 at YYT in 45 KTS of wind?

Best of luck my friend!

B.

How to get an interview??

Hi y'all!

How does a former CJ driver who would love to work at WJ get themselves an interview there??? Can anyone enlighten me as to how many they are hiring in the next 6-12 months?

Cheers

With regard to the food, the question was whether or not we have to . the lunch before I go south or if I can hold onto it. Does the fact of it being sealed or not make a difference? As for the snacks, I wonder whats to come when, as a cost cutting measure, you have to pay for a pop and a bag of alm...

Correct me if I'm wrong; You start a four day pairing and fly YHZ - YYZ - PIE. You overnight at PIE and then fly to YYZ and YHZ. The lunch you packed at YHZ on day 1 has to be gone before you fly into the U.S. You stuff your face full of food on the first leg only to be starving on the next three le...

N2 & dragger.... it's obviously you two highly trained professionals have no clue as to the current plight of the pilots at CanJet. If it were you in the situation faced by many of them, you would be the first ones to sign a union card. Come on guys, give me a break.... if everything were peachy do ...

I agree.... we just lost a good one to WJ (with maybe more to follow?). As for the GPS.... ohhh wishful thinking ( they're 500's not 800's)! As for time, a dash guy has no prob going skipper, but when you have guys waiting with over 10,000 to 12,000 hours and previous jet experience..... come on boy...

I second what uwillpay & flyin fish have to say.

I mean it's good for the guy who got to go left seat! But no doubt other people further down the line are questioning just what management are thinking.

I'll bet some are already updating the ol' resume!
