It seems like doing the drive is the best option. I'll look into getting a second car to put the km's onto it and enjoy the drive

Commuting from YOW to YUL
If anyone here does this I would appreciate any info. I'm guessing with the frequency of flights per day from YOW to YUL it shouldn't be to difficult but is there alot of people trying to get on those flights?

You can go from WB RP straight to NB CA as long as your seniority can hold the position. Upgrading to a type you’ve never operated before comes with its own set of challenges but it’s fairly common these days. Do you know which of the WB RP positions has the best QOL? I do know there’s quite a few commuting from YHZ. Thankfully, some airlines have opened up the FD for other airline’s participating pilots to sit in the jump. Would they go to the trouble of doing the check if you'd been unsuccessful in the interview?Then seven weeks after the background check, you get an email saying "you were unsuccessful in the interview."

Ha yes me too! Beautiful place, low(ish) cost of living, easy commute to the airport....I’d do some pretty terrible things for a yhz base
