Re: Commuting from YOW to YUL

Thanks everyone for your replies, its great information.

It seems like doing the drive is the best option. I'll look into getting a second car to put the km's onto it and enjoy the drive :)

Commuting from YOW to YUL

If anyone here does this I would appreciate any info. I'm guessing with the frequency of flights per day from YOW to YUL it shouldn't be to difficult but is there alot of people trying to get on those flights?

Thanks for any info.

Re: Aircraft QoL

You can go from WB RP straight to NB CA as long as your seniority can hold the position. From what I can tell the 330 s...

There's going to be lots of hiring next year too.

They are currently doing classes of 23 with 20 of those people coming from Jazz.

Re: Commuting from Halifax

I do know there’s quite a few commuting from YHZ. Thankfully, some airlines have opened up the FD for other airline’s participating pilots to sit in the jump. It’s one extra seat that many can’t occupy. Talking with friends that commute from the coast, it can be challenging; But very doable. Plan a...

Re: Is being Relief Pilot detrimental to career

Out of curiosity does anyone know if there's a minimum jet hour time for RP? I'm pretty sure there is for WB FO.

Re: How long until you hear back from AC?

Then seven weeks after the background check, you get an email saying "you were unsuccessful in the interview."
Would they go to the trouble of doing the check if you'd been unsuccessful in the interview?

I’d do some pretty terrible things for a yhz base

Haha got you. At least volunteer pay increases every year from PT McDonalds to FT Red Lobster.

Apparently ALPA is going to get you guys $100000 per hour though so you'll be good ;)
