Re: Air transat
I find this kind of post ridiculous. First you make a stupid comment about a landing and compare it to c-150, then you demean the pilots on a public forum for looking Young! If you are a pilot, why are you contributing to these forums with crap like this. If you are a pilot I`m sure you can probably...

Re: Jazz Air LP signs 5 year deal with Thomas Cook Canada
Status pay works at places like Transat, Westjet etc places with fleet commonality. Ive heard the arguments and still at the end of the day jazz is dash 8 paid pilots now flying big aircraft. Why are you so proud of that!

I cannot come to grips with this status pay either. It`s not spreading the wealth, WE MAKE 50-60 GRAND FLYING A BOEING 757! This is wrong very wrong!

Im intrested to know what the Skyservice pilots pay scale was flying the 757`s. But on the other hand Im afraid to know. I know what I make and I know its not what a 757 FO should be making.

Re: Jazz pilots contract?
I agree the pay scale in this contract blows! After all the talk and hype and its still a 12 year pay scale. Career contract I dont think so! I will be voting NO. And to think that these are 757 wages aswell makes me sick!

I personally witnessed these clowns flying through the center of a cell, and had the audacity to report moderate turbulence and icing in their area...

I agree with PC12Flyer 100%. Jazz getting EMBs then doing the flying at sub pair wages is only adding to the destruction of the profession. Why dont ppl see this, look at the United States.
