I just had to renew after being away for 2 years and they did not even take my application. They handed it back and said I was still "cleared" untill 2008. My pass had expired but the finger print check and background was still valid. They handed me a red pass 10 minutes later no questions. I guess ...

I agree splitS. Being at home is more important than a few numbers, and you can always make that move later. But it is a personal choice... thats just my opinion.

See ya on the 16th...

Your call... some say yes some say no. Had a friend who called 2 weeks ago and got the call last week. I think the call was coming anyway. I dont think it has any influence on your position. They have a pool when people are taken out it is restocked... No call means your score is not in the top (how...

For anyone who likes to travel internationally the C1 is the only was to go. It is not a matter of buying seniority but rather travelling in business class.

I do not think the C1 is the problem but rather the amount that the company charges us to travel.....

If your numbers are to hign they will just make you do extra testing. You will have to do a stress test (running on a treadmill) to make sure you are in good health.

I was told by the AC hiring woman last week that the plan is to do 2 courses a month of approx 12 instead of one of 18-20. Since May there has been one larger class per month, now they will try 2 smaller ones... Overall number of people per month should rise slightly. They would like to take more bu...

Because I was over seas it is cheaper for them to do the med, interview, testing all at once, rather than fly me back twice. So I had it all done at one time.

I know of 3 Jazz guys on the July 24 course but there may be more. I am a Jazz guy but have been on leave since Aug 2003. I do not have a date yet but was told to expect one this fall (Aug/Sept).

I do not think a Aug date has been set yet but if I am wrong please feel free to correct me.

It completely depends on what type, seat etc you are, to get YVR. Some of the latest new hire class were given 767 cruiser in YVR, great for those from out west.

I am aware of someone who received the PFO after 7 months. I guess once you are in the pool you sit there untill you are called (ie. in the top 19 scores for a 19 people course... or until you are forced out the bottom of the pool by other candidates who score higher. The scores as you know are base...
