Just curious as to why some FSS stations request an ident in the MF and some dont. Is it purely personal preference? And when the resonse comes back from FSS "Roger ident" what can they even do with this? Maybe im missing something

Amen! I know most already do it, but why not run through some drills while in cruise together. Quiz your right hand man/woman. Always a good brush up for both! WE should know these inside and out, lets not be complacent.

Personally i think its sad, too bad. Seems like hes had a rough go. Hopefully he can get some help and get his life back on track.
