Re: New Pilot Uniform

If hats are no longer standard issue at AC/Jazz then enrollment at the flight schools may dwindle.

I suggest anyone thinking of coming to Jazz should sit down with their coffee, and consider in deep thought, your real answers to these questions...and not just your interview answers. I did exactly that, and the PFO beat me home. I guess they would rather guys to bullshit their way through the int...

Commercial SEIFR is just plain wrong. I think consumers expect a certain level of safety in commercial IFR ops and having no redundancy when it comes to engines isn't what I think most would be comfortable. Well they don't have to get on if they don't want...... Doc seriously you need to learn how ...

Why do you think companies began to issue bonds in the first place. Maybe years ago too many pilots screwed operators and now the younger group is paying for their lack of commitment?????
Doc your an old timer what do you think?

The best part about the PFO is the line of shit they feed you (a 3000 hour turbo prop captain who has been in the "workforce" for about 10 years) is that they have candidates whose "experiences" and "qualifications" are more suited to the job.

I am just curious, was the interview for college candidates geared specifically for them or was it the same as every other candidate? How would they be able to answer the question "Describe a time when a capt. had to take control from you." "Tell us about a time when you had to take control from the...

Opening for Low time pilot

A past employer asked me to help him find a pilot to do some farm photography for the summer. A chance to get paid quite well, bulid some time, and learn. If you don't mind living out of a suitcase for the summer, and are flexable and easy going, PM me.

How about instead of spending energy on training 200 hour pilots they spend some energy on ground help. Lets see..... last 3 flights on Jazz 1) 35 min hop in the air ----- 15 min on the ground cause no rampie 2) 1.5 hour RJ flight 20 min wait for rampie 3)2 hour delay leaving departure airport, 1.5 ...
