Re: bumping first class passengers for deadhead crew
This Ifly chick is clearly an angry FA whose lack of any "professional or licensed" designation, is making her bitter. Sorry, your days of linking contract gains to "licensed" employee groups like pilots, dispatchers and AME's are ending. Don't take your resentment out on us. Go get a professional ...

Re: bumping first class passengers for deadhead crew
“We need flygirl at mainline ASAP so we can watch her let loose on yammer.” Someone mentioned that “Flygirl” was turned down in one of the original Jazz PML’s. He/She/It never moved on from an Air Canada rejection. Guys/gals there was never a passenger bumped in this situation, more like they were ...

Re: bumping first class passengers for deadhead crew
It’s pathetic to bump a paying passenger for a pilot to sit in J
you should be ashamed of yourself you take away an experience from a PAYING passenger like that
PATHETIC

Re: bumping first class passengers for deadhead crew
First of all, you were not booked in First Class. Air Canada hasn’t sold a First Class ticket in over 25 years. As well noted above, Captains, First Officers and Augment First Officers are contractually given a Business Class seat when DeadHeading. RPs in Economy, pending space in Business or Premi...

Re: bumping first class passengers for deadhead crew

Can you explain that? Does that give them the right to bump me a few hours before the flight?

Re: bumping first class passengers for deadhead crew
Thank you but that seems a little bit ridiculous it is a very bad look and the pilot should take the highroad and actually sit in the back in my opinion if you could send me the reference for the contract, I’d be appreciated

Re: Flight Attendant Interview Questions
They will ask you questions along the line of how you deal with conflict, how you work with the public and get along with people. They will try to get a feel of your demeanour, your attitude and to see how your stress levels are with a constantly changing environment, everybody thinks a flight atten...

Re: ULCC vs. Jazz
You're better off staying where you are until you get some more time or until they improve the contract at Jazz it's not a destination it's a trap. They lied and pressured the pilot group to make a quick and rash decision on a long contract now it's gonna blow up in their face i'd stay away from the...

The airlines have no choice, but to increase pay this graph from transport Canada, see of how many airline transport license were actually issued over the years noticed the trend..... With retirement and 2 to 3 year captains going to Air Canada from Jazz, There is a competition for pilots and Jazz i...

Re: Negotiations
Oh, could you imagine ..... pilots who decided to stay at Jazz and not take the original PML be senior with DOH to the ones who actually went over ha ha not likely in my opinion. That is a pipe dream that will never happen. The reality is Air Canada and Jazz have a shit storm on their radar and ther...

Re: ULCC vs. Jazz
Stay away from Jazz. All that's left there are senior pilots, pilots waiting for AC call 4-5 years? and No ATPL pilots that would normally be at a 703-704 operator at better pay. They don't care about their pilots well being or lifestyle. spent $80000 on your CPL? here make $42 k and btw we will tak...

Re: Is the Pilot Shortage still on?
And I bet if a regional called at 1000 hours offering 30K a year you’d sign on the spot. This is why WAWCONS will never improve here in Canada I tried the martyr life, turns out it takes more coordination than one stubborn idiot. I worry about the day there’s an engine failure after takeoff in a mo...

I think they are MORONS.
What a waste of fuel, time and money.
The lengths people go to NOT to do the right thing is incredible.
Yeah sure I'm tired of the pandemic too, but I'm not a moron.
