So... They have been operating for a few months now. I just read they are about to start a workforce transportation contract from the east coast. I am just curious how things are going there?
I see former Canadian North Exec's are there running the "Charter Ops" team.

Lynx too low cost?
So, I recently discovered that Lynx provides ZERO inflight service, save for a cup of water. The entire premise of operating as a ULCC is on added fees and ancillary revenue. What airline in their right mind commences operations and has zero inflight services? no buy on board, nothing. An excuse I h...

Re: Onex buying Sunwing ?
So it sounds like Sunwing vacations - which includes everything but the hotels - is operating as a standalone company under the Onex umbrella. So Westjet, Westjet cargo, and Swoop will be sister companies to Sunwing travel which will now be the tour group. This new division will be headed by Stephe...

Re: AAL Pilot w/ Let’s Go Brandon Sticker
If it was his own personal luggage, which seems unlikely, then I guess you could defend it a little bit. But really, why do you feel the need to shove your political views in everyone's face. I agree. I also feel the same about religious insignia at work. Or sexual orientation. Why do others need t...

Re: Delta to drop degree requirement, why won't it happen here?
For those without a post-graduate degree it is absolutely vital that you include your pronouns (i.e. He/His) on your resumé. Although it might seem insignificant, you need to impress upon the HR person reviewing your profile that your are progressive and can function in a modern inclusive workforce...

Re: Opps Oceanside Air gets evicted by Qualicum Beach Airport
There's more than meets the eye here IMO. The town council met in secret (in camera) and based their decision on a video? I'd like to see the video myself to see what they based their decision on. If as the owner says that had a beer and put the empties in the garbage in the terminal, big deal. Whe...

Is it just me... or when you look at their paint scheme it reminds you of the paint scheme for the US Coast Guard?

Re: Aspire Airlines?
Canadian North management team?? Oxymoron. That is probably why they shut down. Anything but robust. Actually, I know a lot of the guys that went to start-up Aspire. Some really accomplished folks, the Hankirks apparently were involved, some of the guys from maintenance, regulatory affairs. I am ju...

Rise Air?
Hi Everyone,
Does anyone here work for RiseAir? (the newly merged Transwest Air and WestWind Aviation based in YXE)? Just curious about morale and corporate culture, how things are going with the merger and re-branding etc.
Thanks in advance! stay safe out there.

Aspire Airlines?
Hey guys,
I noticed today that a former colleague's LinkedIn profile was updated to say they work for "Aspire Airlines". It seems that Aspire is some new charter airline based out of YYC but when I googled I could not find anything on them. Does anyone know anything about them?
