How do credits work?

Hey guys,

New to 705

How does credit work ?

Ex: my new company is giving 80credit min 90 overtime.

As an ex: if I’m on reserve for 12hrs , Is that 12 credit?
And if my shift is 00:00 to 10:00 and I’m at the hotel at 11:00
Is that 10 credit?

Any insight would help!

Re: PAL hiring minimums

When I was hired, they contacted my references the following day. 1 week later HE contacted me to offer the job. It could have change since. For base, it depends. When you apply you choose a base, actually they are looking for Q400 f/o in Halifax and Classic and Q400 for YYT. Montreal, they will pr...

Re: PAL hiring minimums

Good question, it all changed since I was hired. What I know, is that actually, when you are selected, you have an online interview (you record your answers) and after if they choose you, you’ll have a chat with someone from HR or chief pilot. It takes around 2-3 weeks to get an answer. Hey! Can yo...

thedfa wrote: Wed Jun 21, 2023 9:33 am Hi! I actually work at PAL as F/O on the Q400. Most of the new hires we have, have around 700-800h.

And obviously, you need your IATRA or written ATPL exams.
What’s the process? How long does it take?

@accountant.

I cannot wait for this situation to conclude. I cannot wait for pilots to get paid what they’re worth

And when that happens, please do not disappear from this forum , keep that same energy, keep barking

He was checking out the quality of the overpaid pilots suits to make sure he knew what to have his teams offer in bargaining....

Stupid question but is WestJet Encore also part of the negotiations? Like will they see better wages/conditions ? I know they’re full part of Wj but never seen them mentioned by name.

Airline Upgrades

Are people upgraded based on their exp : Pic / Turbine time Or is it mostly because of seniority? I keep hearing that upgrades are 2 years for some 1 for some As an example, ...
