Are you asking to help or just being an asshole?
Lots of guys on here seem to be taking great delight in the possibility of Flair shutting down. Good for those of you who can criticize from your lofty perch.

Re: Over 100 WJ employees sue over vaccine mandates
Why were they terminated? Other airlines put those people who didn’t want to get vaccinated on leave.
I agree WJ had to follow the govt mandate but firing people is going to cost them big time.

Re: KFC is starting a new passenger charter airline
Swoop, Sunwing etc make pay after 9-12 days. 4-6 GDO’s on your own terms is a pretty fair trade off. Cargojet caps their flying at 15 days unlike the new entrant who bumped their days to 18. Cargojet was also paying double x 2 for GDO flying. Are you familiar with that term? No? Maybe sharpen your p...

Re: KFC is starting a new passenger charter airline
How about flight attendants and ramp rats making more than a 4 year flat pay FO at “established” carriers? The new carriers understand the market and adapt. 1970’s labor agreement mentality seems to prevail at established carriers. Sunwing, Swoop, Transat, Cargojet and Flair have solid lifestyle con...

Re: Take the vaccine, or lose your job - WTF?
In Canada 88.6% of new cases are unvaccinated vs 1.1% vaccinated 84.8% of hospitalizations are unvaccinated vs 1.1% vaccinated 82% of deaths are unvaccinated vs 1.6% vaccinated. Some people didn’t have a choice to get vaccinated but if you had a choice and didn’t get vaccinated, you asked for it. I ...

Re: No pilot recalls until Spring 2023???
I’m not defending the drop in Wawcon, but I blame Canadian society as a whole as much as I blame ACPA or the company or anyone else. Look at our doctors, lawyers, tech workers ect. All make 30% plus less than there american counterpart significantly more in the case of our high tech sector brethren...

Re: Beginning of the End, or just Crap Service?
Those are your conclusions? Higher than anticipated call volume that requires the system to be upgraded to handle triple the demand is hardly the beginning of the end. A company that acknowledges a problem then takes steps to fix it is an admirable trait. Westjet suspended its flights for 2 weeks in...
