Application not working?
Has anyone else not been able to apply to Air Canada recently? Whenever I try to apply, I upload my resume and hit next and a "thank you for applying" screen pops up but it doesn't let me go to the next page to answer the questions, such as "do you have an ATPL" and "how many hours do you have"? I'v...

Re: Processing time E2
In a nutshell, if you are “more” than qualified, you need to show a company that you really want they job and want the opportunity to show them that! I tired to help a pilot on this site, I gave them advice and they chose to ignore that advice, I’m pretty sure that was you under a different name, y...

Re: Processing time E2
I have stopped counting how many times I have heard of pilots stating they exceed the requirements, yet are not getting a call back. For me, it is pretty easy to put 2 and 2 together and deduce that if you approach a company looking down on them, thinking that they are desperate for pilots and woul...

Re: Processing time E2
Two days after applying for me. They’re pretty quick! How did you manage that? They actually replied to you in just two days. My experience far exceeds the requirements for a First Officer, but since I applied in May and the status changed to 'under review' in June, there have been no further updat...

Re: Canadian Survey Plane Accident Albany, NY
NTSB preliminary. To any Navajo drivers, what's with the pitch and roll instability? Is elevator trim an electric switch on the pilot's yoke? Any ECL for a runaway? https://data.ntsb.gov/carol-repgen/api/Aviation/ReportMain/GenerateNewestReport/194477/pdf These things stand out to me from the repor...

Does anyone know if Sunwing will be hiring anytime soon? Haven't see any job ads in a while and wondering if they will be hiring for the winter or holding off with the merger coming up.

Re: ATPL Application process tips
I’m getting ready to apply for my ATPL however half my time is from a former company as a copilot on a single pilot aircraft. My logbook has been certified by my old CP but doesn’t say that the hours were completed in a 2 crew environment. Is this necessary?

Re: New hire bids
Thanks! Any idea how long on average I can expect to be based out east? With all the movement to AC I'd imagine you should get YVR before you're done training Nah, that’s what everyone said but I waited 6 months from first day of ground school to hold YVR on the RJ. All my classmates that chose the...
