Direct-entry EMB Captains
Can anyone shed some light on this rumour I've heard that there are left seat spots on the Embraer available to new hires? If this is the case, what is the incentive? If the pay is the same flat salary for the first year or two, who in their right mind would take the risk of flunking out and getting...

Called back for 2 of the 4 computer tests...
I was interviewed initially last summer, then got the "thanks-but-no-thanks-but-try-again-in-six-months" letter in the fall. Then AC called a few weeks ago to ask me to re-write the 2 shorter computer-based tests only. (Which I did, of course) I imagine it's a good sign. Has anyone else has done thi...

Anyone hired after PFO?
Hi there,
I Interviewed last July, and got the 6-month PFO 3 months later. I'm wondering how many folks out there (if any!) eventually got hired after such a PFO, and what if anything you did differently the second (or third, or fourth...) time around.
Cheers.

Rain on windshield on approach
Can someone please remind me:
Does rain on the windshield during approach make you appear low, thus the potential for being high on the approach, or vice versa?
Thanks.

Question for recent new hires...
I'm wondering if anyone who has been hired recently answered "yes" to the question in the psych test about having ever smoked pot (if there is indeed such a question). Anyone?
I can be PMed for answers, of course.
