RCMP interview

I am hoping to have an interview with the RCMP one of these days but don't know what to expect from it. Has anyone gone through this process that could give me some pointers? I would like to go as prepared as possible, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Tough month for Borek 2 x DH-6's

It is quite obvious that you do not have all the facts here, since if it were "nice soft gently sloping snow", I highly doubt their would have been as much damage done to the aircraft, if any.

Re: Treadmill advice needed

I'd say go into SEARS or something and pretend like you want to buy one of their machines and get them to give you all the info you need. I bought my treadmill from there and they were very helpful. One thing you gotta look for is the size of the engine. I think you want it to be over 2 at least, ot...

Anybody have any idea what your schedule would be like working for the RCMP? Would you most likely be shipped to a northern base for a new hire then have a chance on chosing a base later on? Salary? Thanks

I ferried down to the Antarctic this winter. We always had a 5 gallon pale in the back with a few garbage bags for "just in casers". Fortunately, it was never used.

Re: Meadow Lake, LaRonge, & Buffalo Narrows?

I lived in Buffalo Narrows for 2 years and loved the place. One bar, 1 grocery store, 1 dry goods store, nice gym, good fishing, swimming, skidooing, beautiful beach. It is actually a really nice little town, no matter what people say about it. People say its so dangerous and you always gotta watch ...

Re: Borek DC-3T accident in Antarctica

Are you honestly comparing a DC-3 to a 150 taildragger? And then you're coming on here and telling people these things shouldn't be flying cause you sit around and listen to instructors talk?

hahahahahahaha

WOW!!!! I don't even know where to begin with this one. Maybe i'll just leave it at that.

I found out for myself, and I am having tons of fun with the company. It's all in what you make of it. You keep a good attitude and don't let people push you around, and, what's not to love? If you like this kind of flying that is, not everyone likes the north.
