To quote Heliian "...terrible little floatplane" ?

AT802F has a take-off weight of 16,000 lbs. It is powered by a 1,600 shp turboprop. What kind of little floatplane do you fly?

Re: Mooney 252 Crash Landing on Hwy 33 in Quinte West

Curiously, the press reported on the skin colour of the pilot. Sounds like they were just reiterating what the police said.

The only Mooney that seats more than a 4 is the 5 place M22 Mustang PC.

The 1960 movie "The Crowded Sky" based on the novel by Hank Searls, may have popularized the term "near miss". Can anyone confirm?

Contact Hercules Propellers. They refurbish used and vintage props. http://www.hercprops.com/reproductionpropellers.html or Clark Industries of Tottenham, Ont. http://clarkindustries.on.ca/ The second propeller from the top looks similar to yours: http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r68/convair640/co...

Re: Vintage propellor identification

Only about a half-dozen of the aeroplane types listed above ever operated in Canada..

How, where and when was it acquired? If it was acquired near a seaplane base/water aerodrome, or an ex-military aerodrome, it might help narrow down the search.
