I found out 4 weeks to the day. 8 weeks for one of my friends. So 1 to 2 months is the norm I would think. Having said that, another guy I know only found out 6 months later.

I just did the medical and they do put you in the booth. As far as what they are looking for, I’m not sure. I suspect it’s the same as TC. There is one more test for the ears and that’s with a little machine that blows air in your ear. I think it’s to check your Eustachian tubes but I’m not sure.

I’ve hardly heard of anyone failing their medical. Any idea what the most common reasons for failure are? I heard of a failure due to Cannabis, that one is obvious. But what about high cholesterol or something like that. I suppose if you don’t pass it you got other things to worry about than your Jo...

Anyone know if there is any difference with the AC medical and the Jazz medical?

If you pass a Jazz medical, should you pass an AC medical or are they looking for more?

Speaking of nasty grams….. has anyone heard of someone getting the bad news lately? It seems that they are backed up and I wonder if that goes for sending out the PFO’s as well.

Anyone know how the point system work? Does the interview hold more points than the cog or the other tests. Does it go as far as flight time, education etc for additional points?

They told me 8-9 weeks in my interview late July (Vancouver). How long has it been for you?

So is the wait time still about 2 months these days for AC. What about PFO’s, are they trying to send them within 3 weeks?
