Belly boats can handle large rough water ... more so than the standard float plane... the question really is how large are your balls, just because the plane can handle it ... can you is the question!! ... the larger the water the more risky it gets. eg : anyone can sit in front of a piano ... only ...

Coastal flying in reduced weather with the 296 is amazing. Add the marine and topo chip and it rocks even more. Here's a question for you. If you have an engine with a rough shake and the cowling is rotating left to right ( 9 to 3 oclock) a bit but still running smooth rather than up and down (12 to 6 oclock) what possible problem do you have and why?
