Re: How will you spend your ratification pay?

How did Charlene go from being a savior to a shill ? Where are the resources? Let's get Joby as the MEC chair, a guy who worked in the US and left..... and can barely string 5 words together intelligently, but but but but - he's an embarsment to our profession and anyone who has played hockey with h...

How will you spend your ratification pay?

Anyone with half a brain knows this will pass with flying colour's. Thank you to Charlene for your unwavering leadership. Thank you to the NC for making me one of the highest paid pilots in the world. 30 years to go as a Widebody Captain. For all the junior guys, just raise the gear and zip it, you ...

Re: Negots Committee - Elephant in the room

So CS gets a pass on all of this ?

And an acclaimed leadership that no one ran against and no one voted for ?

All of YYZ is acclaimed, that isn't the foundation of this unity and strong union that you think it is. Now you sound like the sales pitch.

Re: Negots Committee - Elephant in the room

So who on the MEC is still there now ? Who from P4C was on the MEC than and is still behind this amazing drive for unity ?

Do your homework and you will see who the shills really are!

Re: Negots Committee - Elephant in the room

Which members of the current MEC were on the MEC with MM when they infamously gave themselves 82 hours a month during covid and back pay, while 600 of our pilots were on the street and everyone else was at 55 hours ?

Still not clear why the 2 guys that brought us the MOA in the fall to "fix" flat pay are anywhere near the table right now on this NC.

If you don't get elected by your peers, how can you end up as MEC chair.

Trudeau would love this system

CH hasn't won an election by her peers and she wound up as MEC chair. And how many of the other MEC members are acclaimed and didn't win an election ?

Re: Negots Committee - Elephant in the room

If no one is happy with what ALPA has brought at Jazz or WJ and we have the same monkeys running AC ALPA

Why are we voting in a new union that will be the same dogs breakfast they have proven everywhere else.

Negots Committee - Elephant in the room

So we voted down an MOA with 80%+ in the fall, negotiated by ACPA lead by JR and HE. Now we have a negots committee still lead by these 2, plus 1 PBS guy, 1 CMSC and 1 guy with an MBA. The PBS guy, CMSC guy and MBA guy have worked on committees for a combined 24 months?Their diapers are still wet an...

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

Saying No, and more often ? You guys are a pair of idiots. While flat pay is a problem, a career at Air Canada is a solution for over 4500 pilots and likely 6000 plus in the coming years. Give your head a shake guys, saying No to AC at a time like this is likely the dumbest thing anyone who has been...

No update, ALPA is too busy watching the MEC getting recalled at WestJet and losing on every other front in Canada.

Time for the junior 1000 at AC to wake up. ALPA will not save you from the inept P4C.

No vote full of regret

Well this was predictable.

Watch this bid get cancelled when the no vote prevails and all the entitled prop pilots who think they have this non existent leverage who can hold left seat lose their upgrade for a year.

Regret served ice cold. You made your bed. I'm here to tell you I told you so.

Re: 320 CA YYZ

Upgrades are possible under 4 years. You go to formula pay with the completion of the upgrade. Reserve gets 12 days off in a 30 day block period and 13 days off in a 31 day block period. Days off are assigned at the award of the block. 4 day and 3 day pairings are common, you won't be home in betwee...

Happy to hear lots of initial negativity is turning around with education and understanding. It's going to be a close vote, but I'm seeing the majority of reasonable people saying Yes now. If you surround yourself with negativity, that's the only opinion you hear and think that's what the majority a...

This is a Yes

First off. Thank you Gary for being the tie break to let the pilot group vote. I hoped you would be the MEC chair that would have the foresight to see that this type of decision belongs to the group and not the MEC. It could not have been an easy decision, good on you. Secondly, I'm a yes vote. I ag...

Returnofthemike sounds more like Julian to me, maybe stick to instagram meme accounts. Keep on failing, we won't let you forget. Andre is your suggestion to vote for in place of Nick? The guy who already quit once and has personally subverted seniority as the Chair of CMSC. Does he even know where t...

ALPA is not the answer, current ACPA isn't either

This push to get ALPA to replace ACPA is mis guided by a group of pilots who think they know. Pilots 4 Change, is really Pilots 4 ALPA, and they say a bunch of nice things with no follow through. The transparency is a big one, now that they have rules to play by, they are falling apart, they can't j...
