Re: Latest Position Bid

This bid is good news, but countryhick, keep in mind that, yes, guys from 2006 have been upgraded, but the largest amount of hiring took place after 2006 which means for example, if you were hired in 2008, there are still 450 f/o's ahead of you.

Yup, still 10 more years!

Re: Thomas Cook?

I think with the latest F/A situation, there may be NO TC flying for Jazz.

Re: Jazz hiring pool

With the Q4's going to the east and TC to be sorted, the Jan bid will probably end up being a Feb bid.

Re: GO JAZZ GO

No 757 guys (or gals) are being hired. Those positions are being filled from within. These will be 45 new spots for RJ and Dash. No word on bases yet. I'm sure we will find that out soon. First class of 12 is to be July 12th.

Re: PASCO

Making a profit at the expense of the employees isn't the answer either. If the money just isn't there, than that's another story but a FAIR compromise must be made, but when one side doesn't play fair, well than, a union has to be brought in.

Re: PASCO

Well thats just it. Companies like Pasco don't need to treat people the way they do, and a union environment will change that for the better.

Re: PASCO

The ex-Navair guys are the best! We rock! I'm not refering to the guys, I'm talking about the company! And Navair had accidents and is no longer around, this is the path Pasco is on. From your post, you're saying that companies should pay crap and expect you to load bags. This is what is wrong with ...

Re: PASCO

Absolutely Valcore. They are the new Navair. And nobody's making even close to $70 a year! That's why the pay structure was changed because they told you under the last matrix that you COULD make $70,000 but most came in around $55,000. I'm sure under the new system, you'll probably be able to turn ...

Re: AC/WJA/Jazz Get Saddled with the Supersized

What about the poor person that is sitting beside them that has also paid for a full seat but is only able to use half? Do they get to take the overflow percentage off their fare?

Re: PASCO

Too scared to even express an opinion about a union? I guess that answers the question right there.

Was only wondering if you had heard anything or not.

Re: PASCO

Sideshow...I think I might agree with you on that one. As far as details go, I only heard it as a rumour from someone else and know no more than that. The rumour of people wanting a union has been circulating for months, but this rumour was different. Sounded like someone was actually doing it. That...

Re: PASCO

Another hijacked post that was once for informtation on Pasco and is now a thread on VFR -vs- IFR.

Let's get to the real dirt, and talk about the Union forming soon! (Or so goes the rumour that has been circulating for the last couple days)

Re: PASCO

Come on Cat! I'm normally on your side, but to suggest that float pilots are better than IFR guys and worth more is just your personal arrogance. We actually have a Goose guy that has decided to fly the 1900 for the winter to remain employed, and he CAN'T do it. Can't handle it, can't even understan...

Re: PASCO

Auto4...don't have a clue but can find out for you if you like. They are once again a bit worried about finding float guys I hear. They have a few core guys that are there every year but have lost a couple too. The 1900 guys are on the credit system now, but it isn't reflected on the schedule yet. N...
