I think it was a 757 both ways. How is the Thomas Cook contract working out for Jazz? Is this a long term contract?

Does Jazz do all of the Thomas Cook flights out of Canada? My parents did a vacation down south and the service going down was good but coming back was horrible and had a huge delay. Thought maybe it was it a different operator on the way back!

I heard that the contract for Jazz pilots expired last summer. Do they have a contract now? Is there any hiring going on?

There seems to be a few Captains that commute from the east coast. I've heard of at least 2 that are in NF. I wonder with CanJet out of the picture would a YHZ port be moved up the list a little faster? Especially if a few ex CanJet pilots and f/a's get hired!

Sounds like some CanJet guys are heading to YYC! Does anyone know if WestJet is planning a YHZ port in the near future? Also how are the ports working out? Is it something WestJet will continue with?
