WOW, I'm finally on the winning side of something. Ever since I joined this airline mid 90s it's been nothing but a steady decline! At least about 70ish % of the Air Canada pilots will be happy for the time being until round 2, 3, 4, 5 conclude.

ACPA can keep throwing money at it too. This is one fight the majority of guys don't mind paying for especially if it doesn't delay our W ages A nd W orking CON ditions progression by 5,10,15, (til we die) years. The longer it's tied up in court the further along all of us will be to soften the blow...

There's a Skyregional PIT course going on at the Air Canada training facility late December. CAE probably has a DASH sim next door after that. Timing is about right for Feb.

Re: CHRT Remedy Ruling?
Air Canada is dead set against this because they don't want 77+ year old baggage handlers, CSAs, Flight Attendants etc etc. Ramp wise I think efficiency would be thrown out the window. I'm not slagging anyone just saying a 35 year old can throw more bags per hour then an 80 year old. It's NOT just a...

Mclovin,
You'll notice these forums have the same 30 or so guys that are vocal. We have around 3000 pilots.
That's about 1%, pretty good I would say with the amount of baggage

Re: The hiring engine is getting fired up!
Agreed.
Most of the fleet is on a discounted formula other then the 330 I believe.
I was just thinking be careful what one wishes for. As of right now it would be a paycut to go from position to formula on the embraer.
Sorry guys didn't mean to hijack the thread!

yycflyguy,
Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't formula pay be a paycut from position group on the Embraer?
Don't get me wrong..... I'm with you on getting rid of paygroup!
Cheers
