Re: 4 Flair aircraft seized
I have had a lot of conversations with lessors over the past few days. The news, I am afraid, is very bad. They all think Jones is a pathological liar and want to pull their aircraft out. Jones lying about Airborne seizing aircraft just over a “five day delay” was the final straw because they all ta...

Re: So much for growth
Wasn't it part of the CTA's requirement that Flair can't maintain an exclusive relationship with 777 in regards to leasing, financing, and board occupancy? Perhaps these tails going elsewhere and replaced with other lessors were part of that compliance. No. The CTA is more than happy to allow third...

Re: So much for growth
Flair has aircraft from different lessors. Why are you all focused on 777 partners? 777 ordered aircraft from Boeing at the depths of the pandemic. Got great pricing. Kudos to them for timing the purchase perfectly and for having the intestinal fortitude to buy when others were running for the hill...

Re: So much for growth
Still seems a bit strange but I suppose what you and Arnie Pye said makes sense While I don't agree with everything, especially the new contract as it could've been better, especially for FOs, at least it's trending in the right direction, so like I said, best of luck to you lot, i'm rooting for Fl...

Re: So much for growth
... What do you mean planes come and go? What? Receiving and then getting rid of 6 aircraft in a period of 6 months does not make any sense, especially considering some of those aircraft were already painted in Flair's colours, and considering there are these claimed expansion plans. It means exact...

Re: So much for growth
So is this Globe and Mail story false? Like when they wrote an article saying that Sunwing was for sale, which was strongly denied by Sunwing, but later proved to be true? 777 Partners has orders for up to 134 B737's with more coming, including the 737-8-200. They sell most of them to a variety of ...

Re: So much for growth
I still don't' see any proof of defaults or anything that (even remotely) proves anything really. I posted a screenshot from the Civil Aircraft Register showing eight aircraft have left the fleet in the last two months. Is that not proof of "anything"? :smt017 Are you saying you don't believe that ...

Re: So much for growth
The thing about lessors is when you stop paying them they take their aircraft back and then you aren't flying anymore. All our aircraft in our fleet are operating when they haven't been hit by ground service equipment  and we already have the first 3 additional spring aircraft on the property...

Re: So much for growth
GRK2, here are specifics. This highlighted aircraft is just one example of the many aircraft that Flair is defaulting on. It is not productive to argue with each other and hurl accusations. It would be great if those supposedly on the side of pilots (looking at tbalyx) can tell us that this is not t...

Re: So much for growth
They've actually lost seven since I created this thread, plus another one in December that's unaffiliated with 777 Partners. I really fail to see what their strategy was when they painted all those tails in Flair's livery, configured them with Flair's seating plan, and had Flair register them on th...
