Re: Flair Pilots Better Starting & Top End Pay Now?!
So I took a look at beyond my own base and see the YVR FO Rep is nearly #1 for the ENTIRE base too. And he is a Captain?! So he represents the Jr FOs by ignoring them doing VO? This is insane. This among a thousand plus pilots. ALPA MEC Reps behaving like pigs at a trough when they get their 90 hrs ...

Re: Flair Pilots Better Starting & Top End Pay Now?!
My favorite from this whole negotiating & implementation dumpster fire is the "get involved" part. They are literally going with the same negotiating committee. Zero change. While my yes voting YUL Captain Rep is the #1 OT hog for the entire base while getting ALPA days every month. What a fuking jo...

Re: Does a Yes Vote mean Air Canada Pilots aren't World Class?
Is it Canadian class? Barely. So what do we have to lose by striking then. Nothing. But the MEC caved in the final moments. ALPA's new mantra is "Peak leverage is before the strike". Hundreds of years of labour activities proven wrong by ALPA which relies on pattern bargaining and lengthy campaigns...

So ACPA out negotiated ALPA?!
ACPA out negotiated ALPA? For the MOA in 2022... ACPA got flat pay down to 2 years with pilots going on formula pay on year #3. Also included was tentative displacement was bumped up to 24 hrs. The concessions were: - no longer get displaced on overseas crews. Get pushed to augment - Scope changes ...

Re: Should we donate the World Class Contract lanyards to Rwanda?
Does anyone know if Rwandair has a bonus plan, 100% paid deadheads, not 3rd world reserve, and if days training count in your block?
Thanks!
Thanks!

And a MEC attempting to muddy the waters with the drama of her resignation. Truly a horrific turn in leadership.

For those posting what could easily be considered threats or making posts that are clearly in direct opposition to social media policy, if you are actually a pilot at mainline then you might want to reconsider your postings. If you don't think that cooperate security is watching this then you are d...

The jokes on her and all of us as these corporate executives pay themselves handsomely and pay their 777FOs the least of any in the world
Hopefully she is wise enough to see she is being used to hurt the profession. What a joke!

Re: Encore pilots vote 79% yes to garbage 5yr contract
I honestly hope none of these yes voting Encore pilots show up at AC. They can all flow to WJ and shill it up there
AC Pilots are going to get a World Class Contract through strength and set an example. We don't need any bandwagon jumpers. We want strong unionists here

Sounds like the boys of ACPA didn't want to poll the members on important issues like paid condos, pay top ups while recommending pay cuts, TVs for their homes, quickest way to get into Management etc

Are AC pilots known as 'Frost Backs' now?
Just on layover in NYC and ran into a United crew Asked some specifics about our contract and were surprised on the verification of some things they have heard Mentioned there is a nickname now for AC pilots? "Frost Backs" Apparently they don't appreciate being undercut by our comical wages & condit...

Re: The CEO gets legacy rates at least!
I have to say he earned it if he can manage a company that pays pilots less than half what the competition pays their crews. Excellent shareholder value. Indeed Except when you have industry worst reserve/fatigue rules and come within 14 feet of wiping out 5 other airplanes "...the runway confusion...

You can say that again. No the plan is not to insult people, it is to provide facts to quash rumours that individuals such as he continue to spread without any evidence to back them up. Re: Is this the first AIP to not be in the benefit of the company?
ACPA isn’t a fist waving old man and the fact remains that ACPA pilots are the best compensated pilots in Canada despite having no domestic peers even close to matching AC pilots on pay and pension. Maybe it isn’t ACPA holding everyone back as much as it is the other carriers holding us down. Jfc.....

Re: American Airlines, one of the world’s largest airlines, has announced plans to pay its pilots up to $590,000 per yea
The headline says $590k, but the story says $300k. Which is it? Both - the 300,000 is the increase for FO's. American is matching the new Delta deal with a 40% raise.... So By year 4, narrow body captain tops at $475,000, wide body captain $590,000 annually. https://twitter.com/cbs11doug/status/163...
