If the merger is between SWG unifor and WJ ALPA how could any pilots be “thrown” at encore which is a separate OC and Union?

As a new jazz pilot I’ll be needing to commute from YYZ to YYC soon. By the sounds of things I’ll be making good use of the RJP program and doing lots of my commuting with Porter!

I have a GS date in September with Jazz. Not super picky on equipment but am really hoping to get YYZ base. If not awarded that base on my initial bid is it likely I’d be able to prior to training being completed? I would say odds of not getting your preferred base before you are done your training...
