Re: Not surprised...

There seems to be confusion about the timeline. Here it is, all gathered from company and union emails and townhalls: Monday Company provides formal 45 day notice of intention to layoff required in the contract (confirmed by the CEO himself in his latest Q&A email). This starts the clock ticking. Th...

Re: Flair launches one dollar base fares

Did any of you jokers proclaiming $1 fares as the death knell of Flair actually look into it at all? The only seats being offered for $1 base fare are the northbound flights from places like CUN during the first week or so of the season that Flair is operating there. Almost nobody is booking a retu...

Re: Dangerous Scheduling Practices

Basically yes. We get 10 paid sick days a year, plus 3 personal days for funerals/ sick family members etc and only min credit of 4 hours per day, so max of 52 hours of sick pay per year. The Jazz system is definitely better, not sure it's worth the 6 figure pay cut though. ;) Don't forget that tho...

Re: Any Update On The New Contract?

The current contract is a MMG of 85 credits. Maximum monthly block allowed is 92 credits. The LOU would lower MMG to 75 credits. It would allow the company to choose 4 months of the year where there is no monthly cap, CARs maximums would be the only limit on the monthly blocked hours. More money for...

I will be handing in my resignation if this passes. I am not willing to be worked like a dog for a third of the year.
Even worse, it passing would signal a pilot group that is willing to do that and will continue to.

Re: Reserve out of base

Crew are absolutely on reserve during CUN layovers.

And the reason navblue can't award a min 4cr/day is because if they told it to do that, it would actually do it, instead of following management's ridiculous interpretation of what a calendar day is.
