Re: Ontario Stay Home Order coming in.

I’m calling you a fascist because you display all the earmarks of one. However, I don’t think you should be silenced; that medicine is far more damaging than the disease it’s supposed to cure. I never said you should be silenced either, I said you should be marginalized and ignored. You're really d...

Re: Service Suspension Notice

The airlines are realizing it will be summer 2022 before things get normal both internationally and domestically. What is your definition of ‘normal’? When commuters are requesting the jumpseat because the flight is looking pretty full and we can wander around on layovers, without wearing masks, lo...

I’m in no way a conspiracy theorist either, but a lot of my conspiracies keep coming true....... So maybe I am. Regardless things are going to get a lot worse before they get better.

Re: Service Suspension Notice

Lots of routes from Newfoundland also cut today. Just the beginning IMO. Goose Bay, Gander completely out. Not sure about Deer Lake. That might have already been cut. That about only leaves St. John’s! Airlines aren’t charities to provinces that make it clear they don’t want people flying in so goo...

Are they still around YQT? I remember them from about 10 years ago. Neons were everywhere.

Won’t change any of my habits. I don’t go out and socialize much but if I do visit family there’s always a Walmart ahead somewhere and a pilot uniform in the back. 8)

Well on paper we did..... I don’t think he did anything during his reign. I wonder if the new guy even knows an elevator from a rudder. I am thinking not.

Re: New landing fees at CYTZ

$25+$7 for a 172 type isn’t too bad if you think about it. Driving and parking downtown isn’t much cheaper. As long as you don’t have to pay any other FBO fees I don’t think it’s too much. $35 for Owen Sound is a much different story. Lol

Re: Pre-departure COVID-19 testing and negative results to be required for all air travelers coming to Canada

Has anyone travelled across the border since this rule came into effect? I will be travelling across the border as a Flight Crew Member and deadheading back and I'm curious how they have handled FCMs (as they are in theory exempt). Has anyone had any direct experience or can point to a printed exem...

Re: Porter Airlines shifts restart of flights date to June 29

They should have moved their planes to a drier climate. Sitting them right beside a large lake which never freezes over for over a year is not a good place for long term storage.... Maintenance costs to get them flying again will be large.

Re: Foreign Airlines take CEWS

CERB/CEWS is just EI under a different name to keep the unemployment numbers lower.

It’s the Liberal regimes attempt to save face and hide the true number of unemployed Canadians.

I'm sorry, you lost me at "Trudoper". Second from right. He comes in many disguises. https://www-theglobeandmail-com.cdn.ampproject.org/i/s/www.theglobeandmail.com/resizer/shcdt3NCE88qhDTjq5K29bW00_c=/760x0/filters:quality(80)/cloudfront-us-east-1.images.arcpublishing.com/tgam/APZOCZAYRJB...

Re: Pre-departure COVID-19 testing and negative results to be required for all air travelers coming to Canada

I wonder about the legality of all this... If a Canadian citizen travels for whatever reason and they test positive they are denied entry back to their home country. I can see foreigners told no - but citizens? Is this not some kind of charter violation? We have to quarantine when we come back anyw...

Try it out on prisoners first by all means. We will all eventually have a chance to get the vaccine. I haven’t heard of a single airline employee dying of it in Canada.

Trudumb's agenda is to reduce carbon emissions to ZERO. Aviation produces carbon emissions. He WILL NOT support an industry that produces carbon dioxide as a by-product. Get used to it. More taxes on flying and NO support for aviation in Canada under a Liberal regime. He will do everything in his p...

Re: Aviation sector once again takes another hit

Does it really matter anymore? The Rona is everywhere now. What difference does it make if a few more arrive on a plane? Toronto alone had over 1000 cases today, and that's only positive tests, multiply that by 100 if you want to get the real number for the general population.
