1. don't be picky. take any instructing job you can get ( instead of "prefer big school balabala")
2. start from ramp job or dispatcher. in order to "break into" a company.
3. take some part time job first. Uber or anything you can get to keep yourself survive first.

but currently I am an outsider though finished floatplane rating last year. also with 500+ hours totally.
any advise about how to break into this industry ? is the major part of job opportunity only rely on internal referral ?

it's not only about age but also if you get internal referral.
the people who get airline job at 35+ , I guess many of then got internal referral.

agree. Also we will only need to learn one set of airlaw. No need to study the difference btw US and CA airspace, oxy requirement, high performance,.... etc

a mil pilot who already experienced supersonic will learn C172 way way faster than a outsider.
