Yes I know who Ray Kurzweil is and I have read a lot of his material. I doubt if any of the naysayers here have even heard of him. Like I said ignore the future at your own peril.

Re: Kelowna Flightcraft moving to YYZ
You guys are really funny. Bought and paid for. BL is good in his little sandbox where he has all kinds of control. But he is overstepping his boundaries. There are far bigger sharks in the sea than BL. He is but a minnow.

Re: Kelowna Flightcraft moving to YYZ
Because there is a market for this. I agree - on the surface - simply stopping in Anchorage seems kind of odd, I'm sure there's a reason though.......maybe it's what his customer wants. No freight forwarder would use DHL or Purolator.....are you nuts????? It costs $9 to send a letter to Victoria. T...

Re: Kelowna Flightcraft moving to YYZ
What people seem to be missing is "dispatch reliability" along with engineering support and parts support for an aircraft that Boeing has zero interest in. It is an old MDC aircraft remember... Boeing never were into the ongoing support and modifications of aged airframes, especially ones ...

Re: Kelowna Flightcraft moving to YYZ
Boeing Boy there is no "large overseas cargo market" in Canada. Never has been. I love the Dc10 but it's day has come and gone. Finished. This is all just a joke that Barry is playing on somebody. And if he is silly enough to try it he will lose his shirt.

Ha ha ha ha ha....like a fish out of water Barry this will spell the end of KFC..They have no idea what they are getting themselves into and are twenty years behind the times with their DC10's. It might have worked in your little cocoon in Canada but not in the big bad open market.

The farm was sold to the USA many years ago boys. A lot of people had their eyes closed when it took place and many people are still unaware of that particular situation.

And the bedwetting continues. No worries I hedged myself against these stark realities some time ago. More it goes down the more I smile. Just waiting for buying opportunities now but the bottom is nowhere in sight yet. This is going to be a gooder and the whole landscape will be altered. Got real e...

Re: First Air
I love dropping by once in a while and checking out the fantasy world that 5T and 7F live in. 7F because they can't get any charter work and have to fight 5T for a piece of the scheduled pie and 5T because charter is what they live for. The charter market is very fickle boys. It comes and it goes, l...

Re: Price of oil and aviation
This is a pretty humorous thread. Nobody in this world knows where the price of oil is going or when. The price is tied to so many political footballs around the world it is virtually impossible to say what will happen next.Any cowboy who thinks he knows, well good luck with that. Do a little more i...

Re: Canadian north to buy first air
Don't see any artificially low prices on any of the northern routes these two operate. You could even speculate on price fixing. Just saying. And the fact that they are both owned by northern beneficiaries and people seem to think that they will operate at a loss to haul family members around like a...

Don't worry people the competition bureau will never let this one through. So both airlines can keep on chasing the same crackers.
