Re: Lets talk about the Piper Navajo

None of you have even spoken of the F-406 AKA the Caravan II.
Now that's one heck of an airplane! I regularly saw in excess of 260Knots at FL 120 and below with that beast!!!

He was part of ''MAC'' association (or some other similar name?), who sanctioned ''approved'' RC fields,...

Re: ".......annnnd...."

I am curious as to WHY pilots going from one different freq to another, on initial contact they say ".... and ....centre" etc... like they were continuing a conversation. I've found that many (including myself at times) pilots get a brain fart when on initial contact which leaves that dreaded 1/2 s...

Re: Patty Wagstaff Busted

She's still a great pilot. And I'm jealous of the cop that got to frisk her. :? She is a great pilot, although I was most disappointed when I met her about 4 years ago while her crew were using my AME's hanger as their staging ground for an airshow. She never said hello to anyone, spent most of her...

Hello to all, I've recently come back to Canada after a long ''stint'' in the dark continent, and no-longer have any use for my 296. She has served me very well, and got me out of a few tight-spots that I should never have gotten into in the first place! The unit is in ''mint'' condition although th...
