Re: Minister of Arrogance, The (dis) Honourable John Baird
I thought Trudeau was allowed to do (and change) anything he wanted, but no one else was? Truthfully, historians should consider Pierre E Trudeau the first true King of Canada.

If your biggest problem with someone is the wording of his business cards, you must otherwise think he is a great guy!

Al-Qaeda Claims 9/11 Conspiracy Theories "Ridiculous"
This will come as a crushing blow: “The Iranian government has professed on the tongue of its president Ahmadinejad that it does not believe that al-Qaida was behind 9/11 but rather, the US government … Why would Iran ascribe to such a ridiculous belief that stands in the face of all logic and evide...

Re: Mechanical failures....check lists...SOPs and decisions.
things break on mechanical devices Odd that so many of the experts here are surprised by this. A friend of mine had a weird engine failure in a piston twin - the fuel selector handle broke off in his hand inbetween detents, and he had to fly quite a ways with a very heavy load on one engine. That w...

Odd how experience is treated as unimportant - even with contempt - in aviation.
I figured that you could probably learn something from old pilots, but I guess that isn't the case, because there's nothing to be learned from experience.

Back in the 60's the GT40 got it's name from being 40 inches high. When Ford put it back into production, someone else owned the rights to "GT40" so they had to call it the "GT". Anyone know why Ford made the GT40 in the first place? Hint: Ford tried to buy Ferrari. BTW all the airplanes in the hang...

It's too bad the none of the information required to fly the high-strung 208 is in the POH.
And it's too bad the 208 POH is never available for a transitioning pilot to read it.
