Some time ago a link was posted that led to a website containing various aircraft POH's, and their system descriptions. Does anyone out there recall or maybe even still have the link saved and could post it again.
Thank you in advance,

Re: College of Pilots?

So here is the question. What "part" of this are the rest of us going to be? Thankfully Canada is a c...

Just remember where these guys are now might not be where they came from. I know of at least one of the guys pictured has "trench warfare" in his past. We all have a past even you I expect.

Re: Reno - Note to CatDriver
Very cool CatDriver I have a couple of questions for you. Given how many of these projects never seem to get off the hanger floor. What is the reality of an endevor of this sort for the average Joe. It would seem the the greatest mistake is under estimating the time, energy and cost required. What i...

Re: College of Pilots?
Establishing over-riding industry "standards of practice" is an essential element in the step to professionalism. However where must be a means in place to maintain compliance by all parties, pilot, operator and even the regulator. An empowered "College" would/could go a long way to this end. Any ef...

Re: College of Pilots?
I believe it was printed somewhere else within the forums that eventually elections would be held. I see no reason for them to marginalize their efforts to date by circumventing due process.

It might be a different equipment bid within Jazz. But its a common type rating on your license issued by TC, not Jazz.

The Cessna L-19 has a similar restriction if I remember correctly. Under military use it had 90 degree flaps but under civil certification was limited to 60 I believe.

I believe Earl Recoski eventually moved on to DOT/MOT now known as TC. My father worked with him through the mid 70's early 80's. I think he only recently retired and still lives south of Ottawa somewhere. He had a beautiful Fleet Canuck at one time.

Up to 10/15 years ago, (maybe longer its been awhile since I was there) it would have been Bradley Air Services and Kenn Borek Air in Resolute Bay, CYRB. Borek use to have a sked flight to Grise Fiord in those years. I think Borek might still positions an airplane to CYRB in the summer months for se...

Re: College of Pilots?
I am going to make to maybe very nieve assumptions. First that Contrail, who ever they maybe are a "for profit" venture. Second, I am for now going with the hope that those seeking to establish and define the "college" are not in it for commercial or personal gain.

Re: College of Pilots?
What if the college was only responsible for the "profesional standards" of pilots. The regulator issues the licence, the college grants "permission to practice". The college would define the minimum standards for "entry to practice" and required annual training to maintain "professional certificati...
