Re: Aircraft import and incomplete logs

if you have a copy of the logs, give them to the guy doing the import. it will cost some money, but a whole lot less than reselling back in the states

Re: 20th Century power

Waaaayyyy back i read an article that equated longevity to piston speed. To get power use plan pressure, length of stroke, area of piston and number of power strokes. To make more power move more air, or increase the efficiency. Figure out the number of rpm a 2.2l subie needs to make 180 hp, then fi...

I'd record every conversation with the bosses. I'd walk in, say "By the way, I'm recording this, so if you don't want to have this conversation recorded, then we're not having this conversation. See ya!" then they just find another reason to can you. have voice recorder on your phone" mine records ...

Re: How are those PA-31 Cowls

Correct on the ad, inspect for obvious wear, and try to remove key without handle being in place. . A lot of ho's have an extra latch on both cowls, and doors. A flip over catch keeps the door handle flush, and an exterior plate joining the front of the cowls..... these may or may not be tc approved.

Re: New Journey Log procedures

I would scan the last page of the log and print on the sticky paper. Also I would get a list of all ad's sb's sl's etc..... and list them based upon N/A, PCW, and recurrent. Put them in the first page of the new log. Also this will reduce your ame's time on your next annual.saving you money https://...

something like 90% of the complaints at YYZ come from 6 houses. there was a guy outside of LHR that got caught out using an automated dialler on the complaint line, he didn't change the dialler for the schedules after time change. Follow the money. EAA probably gives these nimby's dough to organize/...

Re: Jazz operates a Q400 after a hard landing...

No, I am saying the sensor must have been wrong. The structure is only certified to 3.3G's "someone correct me if I'm wrong" I think a 5.7 g would have snapped the gear and possibly the wings off

Re: Jazz operates a Q400 after a hard landing...

I think if they landed with 5.7g there would be lots of casualties, I think the navy landings are around 2.2 g "youtube carrier landing hud" with about 800-1000 fpm plonk'er on which is about 12-15 fps with those big, long undercarriage oleos. I don't think navy airplanes would take it let alone a d...

They sprayed from The tips in, and transitioned behind wings for spraying tail, waited till given all clear then completed after starts again, would leave bleeds off until 400'(temperature inside depnding)
