Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

Forget Groupe Mach...they’re losing tons of money with the non renewal of rents downtown Montreal.
Eustache wants to sell to AC only and; AC want Transat.

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

The deal isn't done yet. It's only an amended price per share which will need to be approved by the shareholders. You are correct. However if you look at the current economic climate and what the options are; 1) Potential risk of losing everything, or 2) Take a small lose and salvage a little bit. ...

Yeahhh...when you were making 5500$ per week (on which you were giving 2000$ back to the government) which in return gives you 847$...enough you say? It’s just unfair!

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

It would be great that AC confirm their intention once for all; so everyone could move on. Why wait if they don’t want it anymore? So you are now convinced this deal will not go through and ready to move on yourself? Up until now it seems you were pretty certain it would happen. Worried about the s...

They don’t get tested but they have to quarantine. Geez Gilles, you are really grasping at straws... They have to......right! You should come out of your bunker more often..... Do you personally know anyone who has arrived from overseas lately ? Living in an immigrant neighbourhood I know many. I r...

Re: IATA Warning for Canadian Aviation Sector

The quarantine is killing aviation. One week vacation turns into three. Lots more people would travel if there was no quarantine period. You cannot compare a strike (where the demand for flying is still there) and now (where there is almost no demand for flying) and argue that you are an “essential...

Crappo; on a side note Gilles is also still flying. The real question is: will he get a higher seniority number than yours when the merge will happen?

As self serving at the expense of others as when you turn on your car and contribute to the deaths of many due to climate change , or when you buy some stupid shit made half way across the world in a toxic factory by some under paid person, or when you buy those porkchops you like so much and contr...

Let me clarify it to you FL320. We call you Let's Make A Deal because for months you have been consistent posting about the " deal" . Your are not even a pilot but you get points for being enthusiastic. You should take some grammar lessons while you are laid off from the back end . Loll y...

Re: Airlines need to shut down to survive

This is no surprise to some of us who have had our eye on what's going on around the globe and with airlines all across the world. We have been cautioned that there will be a second wave in the fall and we have been warned daily on all media sources. This should not be a shock . Maybe reality is se...

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

So AC recently sent the missing documents to the EU commission, doesn’t look like they want to kill the process after all. But who wouldn’t be interested in buying the competition for 150 millions only instead of 720? Thanks to the new loan (approved by AC) AT can sustain 2 more years at the current...

Re: When is Air Transat likely to resume flights

Transat giving back 9 330's to the lessor? 8 A330 exactly to get a final number of 12 in the fleet, they will keep adding the new A321neoLR as per the plan. These numbers have been specifically requested by Air Canada for their leisure division (of course you won’t believe it but it does not matter).

Re: Traning bond or ... non flying job

At the risk of sounding like an old fart, I would never have considered turning down a job to stay on government assistance. I have been out of work several times in this industry and sure I have collected EI for a few weeks here and there to get me through and I was grateful for that. I also vowed...

Re: When is Air Transat likely to resume flights

You spent the last year here talking shit and stirring the pot implying that you were coming for peoples lively hood and looking forward to ruining people’s careers and how you hoped the TS guys could undermine the AC scope of work. I believe at one point you told an Air Canada Captain to ‘go fetch...

Good luck :goodman: Shark; I honestly have never dreamt of wearing the AC uniform. If I wanted to look for the apparent prestige of working f...
