No one said you can't retire at 60, just not without a 30% penalty in pension. Babybus, that never was the case at AO!!! EVER!!!! Jacque, its cheaper to cx flites due to no cdn alternates than it is to let these guys retire without the huge pension penalty(30% at 60) and money talks How many places ...

Over 75% of our flites are here in canada Most older Jazz pilots face a penalty on their pension of 6% a year if they retire before age 65. Throw in that many have not been at Jazz for m...

No passes at all for 6 months!!!! Nada, zippo, zilch :(

Commuting policy is reasonable but I as a clarification I believe you have to find a flite that arrives at least 2 hrs b4 checkin and then try to get on the 2 flites b4 that one,

Mr. sober up

Please tell me a time that mainline was in a downturn and laying off and Jazz (or it's former companies) wasn't taking it up the hoop as well. Your layoffs can join Jazz's list if Jazz's layoff's can join yours!!!

A pilot had it happen accidently on a DH8, ie PL at idle with fingers on the guards when hit by turb. It over torqued the engines but no huge control issues. It was breif though.

Take another hit on the pipe JS. First class had an AC 340 captain's son from CMA who had been the pool since 2001 when he was far less qualified. How do I know? Cause his daddy was bragging when he sat in my jumpseat last week. As for those who believe that Jazz pilots will get a number and then st...

No more mainline hiring from Jazz anytime soon!!!! According to Mike Chaisson VP FLight OPS. So much for that letter milton sent to out saying we would be considered based on our qualifications. That's a nice thank you for our concessions during CCAA!!! I guess I should expect to still make less tha...

Unfortunately they're giving barely a week's notice. One guy's wife had a baby in the AM and he got called for AC in the afternoon of the 27...
