Re: REALLY EASY WAY TO HELP PILOTS!!!! COVID-19

Emails are easy enough to ignore, and the secretary can easily setup filtering to ignore mass mailers. Or, you'll get the standard; thanks for emailing me and making me aware of an issue that has nothing to do with me as I am a backbencher - as such; my secretary has forwarded your concerns to the r...

A successful conspiracy, is one in which a limited number of individuals "know" the ins and outs of what has, or will be occurring. Each time people are "read in" to the conspiracy, it increases the odds of leaks. To say that the Chinese could have, or are, hiding hundreds of thousands of fatalities...

As far as I'm aware, most, if not all offices have been appointment only for some time now. So, doors locked or keycard access only.

We should all be going down and coughing on everything it their offices. You'll only be able to cough on the entrance door, being that one cannot simply walk into a TC office anymore. I know Abbotsford you could walk into, and they used to have a phone number that was actually answered by a person!...

Spanish Flu, was named as such due to propaganda efforts during the First World War. H1N1 (also known as the Spanish Flu) was ravaging all sides during the finale of the war; but it was seen as being detrimental to morale to talk about the scourge of the disease whilst the boys were slogging it out....

But you need a multi to start your multi-IFR rating (group 1) But 100% if you have your PPL now, go and get your night rating. The cheapest way to do the MIFR, is doing the majority of the IFR procedure training in a single - then polish up your multi-engine flying in the twin with a twist of IFR t...

Re: Vancouver Lower Mainland flight schools for PPL

What I've observed of many FTUs in the past few years (including the "smaller" ones) is a push towards tapping into the lucrative international student market. International students can be sold programs that are much more pricey than any local student would be willing to accept - although, I'm sure...

The best school, is the one that suits your needs best. That's going to be different for every individual looking to do any flight training. If I were you, I'd look at Pitt Meadows - simply because it's the closest airport; and why drive any further than you have to? When appropriate, go visit each ...

The extension applies to what ever category of medical, you CURRENTLY hold. If you have a Cat 1, it is extended. If you have a Cat 3, it is extended..., etc. The extension is not granting you a higher category of medical than you currently hold; because that would require an upgrade - and CAMEs are ...

Know how to use both the formula (and all other formulas that may be required of an exam taker) and the calculator.

Find a few example questions and run through them with both the pen/paper method and the calculator. Compare results, and decide which you prefer.
