Headset recommendations

The clarity aloft has caught my eye but not sure and would like to hear from anyone that has used it. I also have looked into Bose and light speed but was wonderin...

Re: Oshawa Flight Training

I am seriously trying to get into aviation and the time has finally come to make a decision regarding flight training. I've been asking around and it was suggested that I do my training in Oshawa. I live in Toronto, and getting to and from Oshawa wouldn't be a problem. I also considered the Brampto...

Re: U.S. Work

I doubt there are any US companies sponsering pilots to attain a work permit. If the US does decide to sponsor pilots, Canadians will be in luck because of an advisory circular conversion agreement. Can you explain that little further or provide a link to that advisory circular conversion agreement?

Re: AC Jazz interview questions, profile and sim 2011-2015

Can anyone say how long it usually takes to hear back for a sim invite after the in-person interview? I was told could take up to 2 weeks to hear yea or nay but I am just wondering the typical time frame.

Re: U.S. Work

3. Your biggest obstacle will be getting the right to live and work in the US, if you don't already have this. I was under the impression that in order to get that, all you needed was for the company to sponsor you and then go through the application/vetting process? Please correct me with anymore ...

U.S. Work

Good day fellow aviators, I was recently in conversation with an operation down in the U.S. and was wondering if any on here could shed some light as to how the process could work? I have looked into it myself and understand I would have to get my license converted first before anything else. First,...

Would a 2500 hour pilot with BE02 and LR35 time/international experience have any shot getting something over in that region?

Re: Wasaya, maybe bankrupt?? maybe not..

It's cash up front with prime plus 2% paid back. B1900 is $9500, the dash is around $15000 I believe and so on. This is paid back over one year.

I was in the same situations year and a half ago, are you actively instructing? If so stay instructing and get the multi-ifr while doing that and throw out resumes to the northern operators. You are in a good time to snag up a multi-ifr gig, more opportunity than myself a year and a half ago!

Its only for my own tracking, I figured an excel file could be made but I really am not good with working/making that and was hoping that an app already was out there. On top of that it would be the most convenient if it was a app the would work for an Iphone and just be able to plug in the numbers ...

If your based in YXL with Wasaya on the 1900 you won't be getting per diems, unless you go mx on a reserve and get stuck.
