Everyone here missed his biggest opportunity for getting hired.

He should have went to top management and informed them they had a rude chief pilot and sold himself as the obvious candidate for the position of Chief Pilot.

Re: New Pilots

Oh man. Another out of touch kid. All right. Let old uncle Hans tell you a few things. I also come from the "old country", where indeed most pilots end up in the right seat of an A320 as a first job. Do I think that's safe? No. Not until those guys get a few years behind the controls. I'm not sure ...

Lots of ways to build up your flying experience but a very weak ATP theory. Hence this requirement of... flying experience to be able to fly an airliner. (Not ta...

Re: New Pilots

yes, the time has changed, but companies don't want to understand that. Those, our foreign friends, and classmates who got the license and college diploma with us are flying ATRs, q400 , or A320 BACK HOME !! it means they became better pilots, not being a Canadian citizen. Remind me please: how many...

Re: New Pilots

Maybe you should ask your questions to the school that sold you the dream...
Start a road trip handing your résumé. On paper your odds are very low but face to face who knows, someone may see potential
Good luck in your search but leave entitlement attitude (if any) at the door

Re: Perimeter Add

Even when times are bad, Perimeter is a joke when it comes to their hiring. These young lads will spend 2 years on the ramp, than due a sim eval to see if they can sit right seat in a metro. Don't pass the eval and no flying job for you. I know quite a few folks that had this exact thing happen to ...

Canada seems to have some experience in letting our "intellectual" properties leave this great country...Diefenbaker government is another example...sad but that's business I guess

Don't put the cart before the horse...INRAT is no benefit until you get your Multi IFR.
Unless of course... if you're just curious. Very easy exam.
