Re: Swoop

Fully agree with you but there could be a couple reasons:

-Living in YHM/YEG and they prefer to keep it that way (even if it means working 20 days a month)
-Easy way to get jet time and go overseas.
-Brain dead

Re: Seneca - Honours Bachelor of Aviation Technology

The FPR Seneca program is about as close as you can get to being in the RCAF while still being on the civil side of aviation. Professors are very harsh on everything ranging from appearance to academic performance. Some even go as far as judging you by the way you raise your hand in class. The progr...

Re: Samra 16?

I've never understood why people get so hung up on exam numbers. There are close to 20 different exam versions and you don't pick which one you write. Study according to the TC exam guide and the rest should sort itself out...

Re: Perimeter Aviation LP

Kinda scary thinking there is 1500 hour captains most likely with majority instructing time flying a metro into reserves. This is the new norm now in the 703/4 world. Plenty of PC12's, Caravan's, 1900's, and Metros with 1200 hour guys in the left seat and 300 hour guys in the right that play mobile...

Re: Perimeter Aviation LP

They just posted an ad earlier today for direct entry FO's with the bare minimum requirements (250 hours, CPL with CAT 1 IFR). Would be curious to know if anyone gets called that has the bare minimum requirements or just slightly more in terms of hours Interesting to see their DEC requirements go d...

Re: Chartright

What happens when the owner sells their aircraft? Are the pilots then transferred to another aircraft that is managed by Chartright or do they get told to go take a hike? What happens with the bond if this is the case?
