I would get in touch with Pacific Coastal. They seem to need pilots in a big way and you could be based in Victoria and home every night. You will have an extremely in-depth interview and SIM eval though so be well prepared. Cheers

Used to fly in there all the time but for whatever reason we switched to the main airport in Fort Lauderdale. Still came in to say hi and it was always dead at the Toy Store.

Try to get salary from the get go. They need your name on the application as CP and it can literally take years to get the OC. Meanwhile you are tied up with promises of "soon" while you get dusty. I would say $3000 a month minimum. And yes, been there. Best of luck.

A quick caveat to Joe: I got head hunted for Air Japan and spent some time looking into it. Seems like a decent gig but with one exception - you will spend 8-9 months in Japan training before you ever fly anything.
