Re: AIRLINE CHAOS.
You're a grown up, you can ensure that your own seat belt is fastened. It would seem your favourite activity is to complain about anything and everything so. No one wants to hear what you have to say about one time a flight attendant was mean to you so now you will spend forever hating air canada. ...

Re: AIRLINE CHAOS.
Why is it a factor that cabin staff might be old? Not safe In my OP. Watching them move about, or barely able to move about, that is my view. I wouldn’t have trusted half of them in an emergency. Did I mention they never checked seatbelts once? That is before takeoff or landing too. Next question. ...

Re: Bidding and Schedule
It depends on seniority and whether your base has lots of commuters or not. Commuters tend to go after the 3 and 4 day pairings which leaves the single days available.

The same aircraft mysteriously landed back in YBW a few hours later. Any forced landing you can use the plane again is phenomenal!

Re: Job Posting
...Honestly don't see how it makes sense on their end either. A good first step toward understanding would be to read what other posters have already stated, only 1 hour ago (ie rudder). The applicants that Jazz was prepared to hire in 2020 have all evolved differently over the course of the last 2...

Re: Party time on Sunwing!
Being completely maskless? 100% acceptable. Drinking in moderation, not excessive? 100% acceptable. Vaping? Im not sure. Opening the main door? Not acceptable. The behaviour I ask is ignoring the rules and regulations put forth by the air carrier. - Drinking their own alcohol? Not allowed. - Vaping...

Re: Best guess when hiring will happen
Love the company but man do they take forever. It took 2 months from the first call to my job offer. That excludes the months waiting for the call.. I originally interviewed in November and was placed in the pool in December then wasn’t called for the March ground school till mid February lol They ...

Re: EnerJet 2.0 = Lynx
If anything I think the recent announcement of the WS codeshare means we need more competition. Swoop (an airline in an airline) is partnered with Sunwing, Westjet is partnered with Transat. Flair is the stand alone independent coast to coast airline in Canada. I welcome Lynx, lets see how many ULC...

Re: Flight school
Why hello aspiring aviator. Did you try the Calgary flying club? They might have a waiting list but they will take your money and partially dependent on you, maybe even train you until you have a CPL with lots of great ratings.. As for affordable living expenses in Canada you are at least five year...

Re: Canada to mandate vaccination for all airline workers
I can see the violation of some charter for employees ,but as far as passengers go...travel is a privilege not a right. I'm sure there will be some way around that for those who can't be vaccinated (children) just like for the "mandatory" vaccines to attend school. No it is a right 6. (1) Every cit...

Re: Best guess when recalls could happen
Thanks AWOS! Hopefully there’s a couple more recall announcements coming in the nearish future. Does anyone know if the company is getting close to meeting current demand levels or is there still a gap to fill? Starting to think we may not see anymore triple digit recalls coming our way after AC’s ...
