It's actually bad performer from what I've heard. Good on fuel though.

Re: When is Air Transat likely to resume flights

From the EU itself https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/press/press-releases/2020/06/30/council-agrees-to-start-lifting-travel-restrictions-for-residents-of-some-third-countries/ Reciprocity should also be taken into account regularly and on a case-by-case basis. Applies too all, not just China Can y...

Wow, who would have thought bringing a 321 to Europe is akin to a NASA space launch.

I’m not sure why we should be surprised. Even the exemption from the EU requires reciprocity.
Not true according to CBC. EU only required reciprocity from China with the latest announcement.

Re: Why Can’t All Airlines Continue CEWS?

The intention of the program is to keep employees on the payroll ready for immediate bounce back of services. If you don't think that will happen with your business it might be considered abuse of the program to keep drawing money.

Please don't do this. Fees are high enough.

Re: Snowbird crash in CYKA

It is unfortunate to say the least, that the Tutor's weren't equipped with better safety equipment to help get the crew away from an emergency situation. I am sure that will be something the Forces may take into consideration going forward. Amen to that. I would not be hesitating with the decision ...

Re: Snowbird crash in CYKA

I'm disappointed in those ejectors seats. The aircraft was in a significant nose down attitude but it wasn't until after they ejected that it went straight down. They also had what looks to be more that 100 feet of altitude when they ejected. If an ejector seat can't save you in that scenario than s...

If Canada was smart they'd save their money and get the Americans to perform the recovery for them. They are planning to use this type for the next Presidential helicopter so I'm sure they are dying to know why it went down.

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

I am curious as to you what your seniority is? The more senior you are the less you worry.... Especially in post covid times. Although sharklasers was harsh, i completely agree. I don't think tonah works at AC. Just pretender with a hate on. Altiplano, you're incorrect again. I was at some pretty s...

Re: 79 Airplanes Retired

A321neoLRs? Yes looks like ACPA has already put a MOU to allow TRZ pilots to take over. On a side note, you AC pilots will love flying this brand new aircraft; very nice little bird. They're pulling your chain. Transat wasn't mentioned at all or any of their aircraft types. They said 220's and MAX.

Re: WS/WO Layoff Mitigation Agreement

Why are they laying off 450 on May 1 if CEWS is until June 6th (with talk about it being extended to September 30th)? Seems like a crummy thing to do.

Re: RCAF Cyclone Down

I hope it wasn't the main gearbox. The government removed the requirement from Sikorsky to supply the CH-148 with a 30-minute run-dry main gearbox.
