What did you expect with 250 hours?

I take it you applied for the flightpath FO program?
You’ll have to wait for them to send you the link for the digital interview.

Unfortunately there are still some “reputable” mid-size 704/705 asking for bonds ranging anywhere from $10 to $30gs repaid over a period up to 24 months
What if they go under...will you get your bond (balance of) back? Take a number with the other creditors!

Re: SARON / SAMRA Feedback

C is between A and B
At FL240 temp would be (48-15) = 33degrees
A is 39 and B is 43 so C would be 41 which is ISA -8
Then wind
A is 75 and B 35 so C is 55 kts
Direction is same reasoning

Try Chinook Helicopters in Abbotsford
They have a large fixed wing fleet and a good program

Re: Helicopter pilot thinking about making the move to fixed wing

Smart move.
Don’t think about WJ or big red.
You have a long road ahead.
Once you get your 200+ fixed wing time you’ll have opportunities with 702/703 operators.
Good luck

Re: ATPL Question Re : Flight Attendants

It has definitely not changed to 1 in 50 in Canada. The rule is 1 in 40. There is an exemption to that rule that allows 1 in 50 but it has additional requirements. You don’t know what you’re talking about Read CARs 705.201 It’s up to the operator to choose 1:40 or 1:50 No longer exemptions required...

Re: Accelerated Commercial Ground School

TC accepts letters of recommendation from pilottraning.ca. Not all offices do. I know from many cases. Mr Penner knows and has been dealing with this too. Their online course is excellent but again, if the FTU provides the student with the recommendation letter based on the letter of Harv’s Air the...

Online, on your own time, and very economical.
Yes but....be careful as TC may not accept their letter of recommendation to write your CPAER
Better check with your FTU

Re: Making the move to helicopters

I am in both worlds The heli world will not really care about your FW time. Have you considered crop dusting? I have done it and lived it but again not for everyone. All about stick and rudder low but not slow. Rotary is fun too but to get to that “fun” stage, it will require a lot of experience/tim...

Re: Should VFR traffic near control zones contact ATC?

As a tower controller, if you're going to be flying near the zone laterally or vertically, I would prefer a "heads up" call from you. The number of times I've seen someone flying around 0.25 miles from the zone or overflying 200' above the zone without establishing communication when I've had confl...
