Well folks, last night (October 11) another example of how the first game of HNIC us really just a warmup act for the "real" games from the West. Montreal predicatably blows out Toronto in front of the usual half-empty Platinum seats which fill up at the ten-minute mark once the drinks are done in o...

Re: Runaway fuel truck collides with commercial plane at Terrace

Typical media screwup...

CADORS says occurence was at 1440Z, newspaper reporter says 1420PDT. It happened at 1440Z, and there was a NOTAM to the effect that there was no fuel available issued that morning.

Any takers, FSS or wx observers, what "chaotic sky" means in the context of an SA? I was outside at the time, and while it was dark and looking like imminent rain, no obvious CB-type activity. yet another ps... the traveller in question has back issues, maybe reason enough not to travel "Y" or the charter equivalent, but he did pay for and receive a certain requested seat. Upon boarding, the seat was occupied by a large intimidating-looking male. The FA's were not willing to ask this man ...

a few ps's... At issue is not dollars for the family member, but a truthful explabation. The flight crew says"grooming", the rep says "fog". Anyone have a guess as to what type of a/c is involved in the song? Inquiring minds need to know.

The only thing more stupid than this thread is the clowns at Global Vancouver that thought this so-called "story" was worthy of airing at all. Worse still, it was the first item at 1800 last night. Among the gems in the story: ancient archival footage of Jazz BAe 146, and a Google Earth animation of...

Despite the tone and content of many posts on this site, there ARE some smart folks that visit here. (smart enough to avoid trying a cryptic crossword?) If anyone e...
