Re: Cargojet fires some AC furloughs

The CP and SVP are both stellar individuals. You can bet this decision came from the executive suite and nothing to do with Flight Ops.

Guys, please don't let all these silly distractions about abandoned allies in far-off countries get in the way of the TRULY important things in Canada, like the Liberals calling an unnecessary election during a global pandemic.

Re: Backfire

Good grief what a shortsighted view. Of course your investments are up, ALL investments are up, we're in the "everything bubble" that is inevitable when currencies are devalued they way they have with the 20 trillion pumped into the world economies. Attributing that to Trudeau or the Liberals is the...

Re: What is going on with recalls in Canada?

Very well said. I don't know what his deal is, maybe he gets off on pretending to be a dictator? He’s not even pretending anymore. That’s the scary part. I have had enough with this right wing political nonsense. I specifically asked for nothing overly political, it is not helpful to Canadian pilot...

Re: Does anyone sell headsets on the weekend

Might have to compromise and get a "cheap one". Aviation headsets are pretty specialized and not the easiest thing to get in the best of times, let alone on a weekend during a pandemic.

Re: Vaccinated people told not to travel in Spain and Russia

It's hard to imagine there have ever existed in the history of medicine any substances more highly researched than the various COVID19 vaccines at present. The entire world is doing nothing else but research, at present. The smallpox vaccine and the Bomb might have something to say about that. A di...

I don't know which airline he was referring to specifically, but I do find it a bit sad that a few people seem surprised that task prioritization is taught in any decent training regime. Re: Private Jets & COVID rules

I'm a journalist looking to speak with people in the private jet industry about how COVID has impacted business and how quarantine rules and testing are handled when you're flying back into Canada. Message if you'd like to chat. I've got a question for you. Actually three. 1. How would anyone here ...

"Having had numerous first hand experiences myself in one-on-one dealings with disruptive passengers" might give some people the wrong idea. Why is this thread even still continuing? RedandWhiteBaron ended it with math, on the first page. The rest is just noise. There’s plenty the federal government can and should do better. Comparing Paul Martin‘s liberals to gropey macblackfaces‘ liberals is farcical. But you knew that already. Haha, pepper spray them or fund them. Hi Rockie, actually they do keep stats on this! :D And you are correct. Most accidents have the pilot as a contributing factor. Pilots are the weakest link. They fail on a rate at least equal to any other component. Either they fail to respond appropriately to a situation, make decisions that get th...

What's coming? A plane that can be flown remotely?

Pretty sure that's already been done for some time now.

Not just with one pilot, but with NO pilots on board.

Wouldn't say it's my favourite, but try "Tmavomodrý svět" (Dark Blue World).

A better version of "Pearl Harbor". Czech fighter pilots who formed their own squadron within the RAF after Czechoslovakia was betrayed by the Munich Accord in 1938.
