Re: Medical heli looses tailboom after fire
Biggest thing we got out of swissair111 was "get it on the ground asap" the story makes it out to be he continued after a fire. I know it was an urban area but there had to be a flat roof or intersection to put it in

Re: Do you bring a second uniform on overseas pairings?
Having large feet, much space is taken up by runners. But standard is one pair shirt/socks/ underwear per day on tour, shorts/tracks couple of uni shirts, and a spare of pants. Normally easy 4 days in a 21 " roller.

Was looking for some contract crew for the winter. Talked to the guys in Montana. Nope they pay them year round to keep them in the lineup...... Most companies in the states are actually looking at there people as a resource to manage, not just exploit and dump in the garbage

Re: YYC ATR working conditions
Don't work there, so I could be way off, but sounds like a 0500-0530 show fly to yqr, yxe sit in a hotel until 1600 then fly back to yyc. And due to new duty rules prob only 3 days a week, so not a huge time builder. Basically feeding to from the 757.

The Campbell river guys
It looks like they have turned their operations over to chartright? Did they have such a problem with getting someone to work for 75k who also had to mow the lawn and wash the bosses car. Look at the glass door wages anywhere between 120-180k. Those that apply don't well yourself cheaply.
