Re: Can Canadians work in europe with an ATPL?

Here is an email I received from someone at TC in Oct. 2009 as a result of me inquiring about this very subject: Thank you for writing to Transport Canada regarding our efforts toward establishing a more streamlined licence conversion process with the European Aviation Safety Agency, (EASA). You are...

Re: For Europe: Any jobs left NOT requiring a Type Rating?

Hi Dhc6to8, I very much appreciate your input. My girlfriend (of 2 years) lives in Spain and it is difficult to maintain a LDR (Long Distance Relationship). I think I have to count on the economy turning around a bit as you say/think it might but I like Europe in any case and will try to make a go o...

For Europe: Any jobs left NOT requiring a Type Rating?

Two big hurdles already for me: 1. I would need to do these ridiculous 14 written exams for the JAA ATP FCL 2. I am about to turn 57 Things in my favour: Canadian and FAA ATP/ 7000+ hours/3000+ hours multi PIC time (most of it on turbine equipment), some jet time. I have an E.U. passport. But I'll b...

Interesting guy...

This will probably be moved to the video section but for now: I always liked the F-14. Now I like it even more, seeing it flown by someone who really knows how to fly... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7192dg_zis It's all good but check it out from the 1:00 minute mark... quite impressive. Pilot's n...

Hi,

If you were doing something fancier than a PPL I would say go through the hard work and study for it, but after a quick search you might want to try this...

A fun safety briefing

This only works with young, cute female flight attendants I suspect. Would kind of backfire otherwise, is what I mean.

I agree that it's a "gimmick" but flying should at least still be fun (for those who can afford it mind you).
