The grass isn’t always greener, but I can say, I know Cargojet (through friends) and I know KFC , KFC is a much much better place but we sill loose guys to AC, Westjet and Harmony and just about everywhere else except Canjet and Cargojet. Only the Captains stay for the most part, the FOs and SOs leave when opportunities arise. We have lost many to AC, Harmony, WestJet, Sunwing, and Cathay. Curently we are severely understaffed (from a pilots perspective) where many FOs and SOs are working enough to get an extra months and a half pay ...

I believe that over the past year, Air Canada has hired much more inexperienced pilots than the most inexperienced pilot hired by Jetsgo. Last I heard all those new hires are flying jets. For the WestJet guys here, just wondering how long your average day is and how many days you work per month.
