Re: Flight attendant Limitations?

Is an F/A considered a "Flight Crew" Member? Or cabin crew? If an F/A is considered a flight crew member, and does not see it fit to fly due to fatigue they should also be covered under CARS 602.02? (602.02 No operator of an aircraft shall require any person to act as a flight crew member and no per...

Re: Approach Ban

An approach ban can be imposed, not only by RVR readings below specified values, but also by a reported runway visibility or a reported ground visibility below specified values. An RVR report will take precedence over a runway visibility report or a ground visibility report. A runway visibility repo...

Can't see ice on the wings? Tell that to the Scandinavian Airlines MD-81 that lost both engines on take-off due to ice breaking off the wings and flying into the fans...Plane broke into 3 parts and a few people were paralized from the waist down. Could have been much worse with over 100 casualties.....

Screw CPA renewal. I say, break away, buy bigger planes and compete head-on with AC and Westjet! No more arbitrators, union talk, scope clause, or any of that nonsense. Let Jazz compete against Air Canada and Westjet. I'm sure the consumer would welcome this with open arms too. They could still run ...
